Abstract

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inhabited by different ethnic groups like Pushtun, Hazara, Hindus, etc. They are simple and religious-minded people. This part of the country is highly victimized as compared to the rest of the regions in the wake of terrorism. The wounds caused by the war against terror will take a lot of time to heal. In the process of rehabilitation, it is the moral responsibility of every institution to play its role in restoring peace. It is also the responsibility of religious scholars to reform society. That is the reason we felt the need to bring this role to light and highlight its significance. There are certain areas in which scholars can work and play an effective role in the stability of the province, like politics and curbing religious extremism. They can play their role wherever they need to. Therefore, their role is crucial for rehabilitation, social reforms, and stability in the country in general and in KP in particular.
